Trail of Legends

Don't know the story of the witch from Buitonne in Fully, the Ghost of the Meadows in Saillon, or La Vouivre from Poteux in Leytron? Take a stroll on the "Sentier des Légendes" (Trail of Legends) and explore these different tales from our region with your family, as you pass the seven panels along the way.

Starting from Tourbillon, on the heights of Ovronnaz, take the Grande Corniche. The forest road winds through the woods, crosses the Salentse River, and continues to Plan Passé. From there, the path follows the river and Lui Teise (cross-country ski trail). Choose the Petite Corniche to return to Tourbillon.

The seven educational panels are relatively close to each other, allowing you to continue the walk accompanied by the Ghost of the Meadows in Saillon, the witch from Buitonne in Fully, or La Vouivre from Poteux in Leytron. Sculptures enhance the walk.

These fascinating stories magically transport you into the daily life of our ancestors. Gatherings by the fireplace were moments of work and sharing. Tasks became less monotonous thanks to the storyteller.

This trail combines hiking and heritage discovery. A game booklet is available at the tourist office.

Benches are placed along the route, and a picnic area is set up at Tourbillon and Plan Passé.

All-terrain strollers are welcome.
