Seya Tour
Take the Jorasse chairlift and dive into a breathtaking panorama of the Muverans and Dent Favre. Your adventure starts here. Follow the trail winding through the larches to Petit Pré. From there, the path gets a bit steeper, but the views and the rich flora accompany you all the way to the Croix de la Seya, perched at 2,182 meters.
At the summit, the spectacle is total. Ovronnaz at your feet, Leytron and the Rhône plain stretching endlessly. Up there, thirty-five peaks over 4,000 meters surround you, from the mighty Finsteraarhorn to the sparkling Mont Blanc. Binoculars, camera… get ready to capture every moment!
Two routes are available:
- Short version: return to Jorasse via the same path.
- Long version: continue towards Grand Garde along an open ridge. Enjoy the infinite views, the winding Rhône, and the villages in the distance. Cross the alpine pastures of Quieu and Odonne before completing your loop at Ovronnaz.
Want to shorten the hike? A handy shortcut is available between La Seya and Grand’Garde, marked by yellow signs.
This hike partly follows the botanical trail “Mille Fleurs 🌸” from Petit Pré to Grand Garde.

The Seya Cross
Camille Michellod, who died in 1984, never saw his "Cross", which he dedicated to the young people of Leytron and to all skiers for their protection. In memory of "La Mission" in 1992, the cross was finally erected, financed in part by numerous generous donors. It is known as "La Croix de la Mission", but the cross remains unquestionably "La Croix à Camille".
