Le Betson

Start your adventure from the Tourist Office along the tarmac road towards the Jorasse chairlift. Continue as far as the Centre Sportif Cantonal. Then turn onto the path that climbs towards Odonne. At the heart of the mountain pasture, follow the path along the foothills of the Seya. At times, the path becomes a footpath, offering magnificent views of Ovronnaz, l'Ardève and Haut de Cry. A small clearing called the Beston welcomes you. After a few hairpin bends, the path descends towards the charming hamlet of Chou. It then becomes a road leading to Ténèvre and Morthey. Once you've reached the River Salentse, follow its banks back to your starting point.

Option 1 :

If you wish to shorten your route, you have the option of going directly to Chou from the path linking Odonne to Betson.

Option 2 :

From the Betson, you can extend your walk to the Creuses du Brégneux, vast, lightly wooded valleys below the Grand Garde, or to the Quieu mountain pasture.
