Ardève Tour

With its limestone cliffs fragmented by erosion, Ardève invites you to reach its summit.

Starting from Leytron at an altitude of 500 meters, through the vineyards renowned for their wines, the slope presents itself right under your feet. Traverse the hamlets of Produit, Montagnon, and Dugny, taking the time to contemplate this impressive face from which a few blocks detach.

The route takes you into the forest, and the trail gives way to agricultural paths. Finally, you reach Ovronnaz where a flat section along the ridge leads you to the top of Mayens-de-Chamoson. Enjoy the view over the entire Rhône plain. From there, your technical skills will be essential to climb the highly coveted summit with the help of chains. Caution and concentration are necessary.

What a marvel to discover a 360° view and the Alps in all their splendor. A long descent to the village of Chamoson, shaded by spruce forests, allows you to return to the plain.

Once at the foot of Ardève, you go around it to return to your starting point.
