Snowshoes tracks

About 20 km of marked tracks are available for snow-shoes lovers.

The ascent of 300 m to Loutze is ideal to arrive quickly (1:15) at a magnificient point of view on the Rhône plains and to taste a delicious fondue.

Are you looking for more difference in height? Go to Jorasse ! After an ascent of 540 m (1:30), you reach the panoramic restaurant. Enjoy the terrace and get back to the station by chairlift!

Do you want to enjoy this activity with a guide and have a good time with other winter lovers?
The international ski school proposes every wednesday evening a « Snowshoes, fondue and sledge » excursion.

Winter hiking trails

Adults and children will appreciate the winter hiking trails.  Pure breath of fresh air guaranteed!

  • Loutze : an ascent of 1:15 from Tourbillon Place
  • Pathier : a flat tour of 1:00 in the forest, accessible to family, from Tourbillon Place
  • Jorasse : an ascent of 1:30 to Jorasse restaurant, from the car park of the chairlift


Snowshoes tracks and winter hiking trails are prepared according to the snowfall.
They are marked out between December and April and accessible without guide.
They are neither traced, nor daily prepared, nor reassured against natural danger as the avalanches
